The Boys and Girls Empowerment Program (BAGEP) is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2013. BAGEP began in Mali, West Africa but is devoted to improving the lives of all African children, particularly those who are disenfranchised, by teaching them essential life-building skills.
BAGEP’s focus is on helping African children overcome the effects of marginalization by developing their self-esteem, catering to their mental and physical health, and supporting their education. BAGEP aims to encourage young people to realize their true potential as future leaders who are able to change their communities and their country.
